Police link Tempe Tavern to fatal hit-and-run

Police identified a 19-year-old Tempe woman as the driver in a fatal Sept. 14 hit-and-run. Authorities said the woman had been at Tempe Tavern, a bar previously subject to an underage drinking sting, just hours before the collision.
