6-year-old boy hit by a car in northwest Phoenix

PHOENIX - A 6-year-old boy was struck by a driver in northwest Phoenix Saturday night on July 18.

It happened in the driveway of a home near the 4000 block of West Powell Drive, says the Phoenix Fire Department.

The boy was airlifted to a pediatric trauma facility for treatment.

He's expected to be OK.
