Flagstaff Police release body camera footage

FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. (KSAZ) - New video has been released showing tense moments between Flagstaff Police and an armed man that ended with an officer involved shooting. Officers shot and killed the man after he pointed a gun at officers multiple times and refused to listen to their commands.

It's rare to see body camera footage shortly after an officer involved shooting, but Flagstaff Police show how dangerous the situation was for responding officers.

Two officers opened fire, a dog was also injured at the scene but is OK.

The suspect fired one time on officers before they were able to stop him.
