Jogger killed left huge impact on family, friends & community

A memorial walk for Martha Hilts, the 36-year-old mother who was hit and killed while on her morning run in Ahwatukee, was held today.

The jogger was struck by a car and killed two weeks ago. Police say the driver was impaired at the time, and jumped the curb, hitting Hilts.

FOX 10's Marcy Jones went out to the walk and spoke with friends of Hilts' who say the world has lost a dedicated wife, mother and friend.

The woman accused of hitting Hilts, 25-year-old Shannon Scott, could face up to 10 years in prison if convicted of felony manslaughter.
