Litchfield Park woman dies after being struck by car

GLENDALE, Ariz. (AP) - Glendale police have identified a pedestrian who was killed after being struck by a car.

Police said that 55-year-old Jane Pablo, of Litchfield Park, was hit by a vehicle Thursday around 12:40 a.m. near Litchfield and Camelback roads.

According to authorities, Pablo was in the roadway for an unknown reason when the car was traveling northbound on Litchfield.

Police say the adult male driver stopped and remained at the crash scene.

Pablo was taken to a hospital where she was pronounced dead.

Investigators say neither speed nor impairment seem to be contributing factors.
