Parents facing uncertainty as teacher walkout continues

As the teacher walkout continues on Friday, parents are facing uncertainty, as they head into the weekend, unclear if anything has changed.

"The uncertaintiy is the hardest part, because you don't know what to do Monday or Tuesday, or how to plan for the kids," said one parent.

For one grandmother, while she understands the reasoning, she is concerned for her grandchildren.

"I personally don't think its gonna be just a two day ordeal," said the woman.

"My mind starts going," said Kelly Marker. "Are there classes not going to count? How long is this gonna last, especially with my high schooler."

Marker also backs the teachers, but at this point, she says they're anxious.

"I was surprised," said Marker. "I was hoping it would get figured out by today."
