Police investigate triple shooting in El Mirage

Police are investigating a shooting where three people were injured at a home in El Mirage near Thunderbird Road and Grand Avenue.

Authorities say when officers arrived at the scene Tuesday night, they found one male and two females, all between 18 and 21 years old, that had sustained gunshot wounds.

The victims were taken to a hospital by ambulance for treatment. None of the injuries are life-threatening.

According to police, a fourth person at the residence was treated and transported to a hospital for an unrelated medical issue and was not shot.

Investigators are unsure of what events led up to the shooting or whether the shooter knew the victims. The suspect is described as an adult black male who is still outstanding at this time.
