Woman accused of driving drunk, crashing vehicle with two young children in the car

MESA, Ariz. (FOX 10) - An East Valley woman has been arrested on two counts of aggravated DUI while driving with her two young children in the car. Her blood count was .18.

30-year-old Whitney Cherese Furlow was arrested on March 11 while driving under the influence with her two children, ages 7 and 9, in the car with her.

Police say Furlow was driving down Brown and center when she rear-ended the car in front of her. Court documents state the Furlow smelled of alcohol.

When police arrived at the hospital, Furlow allegedly had glossy eyes and was slurring her speech. During a counting test from 21 to 10, she repeated the number 18 three times, along with other failed tries.

There is no word on whether or not Furlow still has custody of her children.
