Ford announces massive recall of 2.9M vehicles that can roll away, cause crashes

Ford is recalling over 2.9 million vehicles to fix a transmission problem that can increase the risk of inadvertent rollaway crashes. The automaker says it has received hundreds of complaints, and four people have been injured in crashes so far.

The bodies of a man and woman were found in Phoenix, and police say there are no "obvious" signs of foul play, but they will investigate.

In Chandler, two people were hurt in a crash on Loop 202 near Arizona Avenue. Meanwhile, on Interstate 10 in Phoenix, one person was seriously injured in a collision on the westbound lanes near the 7th Street exit.
