A homeless man is under arrest for his alleged role in a deadly stabbing in Mesa. Police took Mario Ortiz into custody on counts including second-degree murder. Earlier this month, they say he met a man at a bus stop and asked him for drugs. Detectives say the men went to an apartment to get drugs and then went to the apartment of the victim where police say Ortiz stabbed the man to death. A judge set bond at $100K.
