The Phoenix Zoo is mourning the loss of one of its beloved animals. The zoo announced Noelle the female fennec fox died a week ago at the age of 12. She was six months old when she arrived at the zoo in 2012. Zoo officials have not yet said how she died. Noelle is remembered as a "sweet and friendly girl with big ears and sleepy yawns." She will be missed by guests and staff.
