Dog causes traffic delays, escapes injury on I-10

PHOENIX (KSAZ) - One dog decided to celebrate National Dog Day by taking a morning stroll on I-10 Wednesday morning.

The dog was trotting westbound on I-10 when the Arizona Department of Public Safety blocked off traffic briefly in hopes of keeping the dog safe.

The dog started out in the tunnel and escaped without injury.
