Friends and family remember teen killed in crash

There are a lot of broken hearts on and off the Maryvale High School campus.

Dalvin Brown was a likable and popular freshman who touched an entire community. His mother says Dalvin will continue to have a positive effect on people through his death.

"This young man at the age of 14-years-old inspired this whole campus in his short time the inspiration he had is remarkable," said George Martinez.

Those who knew Dalvin Brown say they will never forget his big smile and heart.

"Dalvin was the most kindhearted person you'd ever meet, he always put himself behind everyone else," said Leslie Cooper.

Dalvin's mother says her son will become a guardian angel for several others in need.

"He's saving lives now, he donated his organs to save other people, that is Dalvin, that's what he would've wanted," said Cooper.

Dalvin was hit by a vehicle while trying to cross the street while catching a bus to school.
