Man accused of killing half brother, nephew faces death penalty

PHOENIX (AP) -- A Phoenix man convicted of killing his half-brother and 6-year-old nephew in 2010 now is facing the death penalty.

Maricopa County Superior Court officials say jurors found two aggravating circumstances against 24-year-old Christopher Rey Licon.

The trial's sentencing phase begins tomorrow. He also was found guilty of kidnapping, burglary and tampering with evidence.
