Police search for man who shot woman at valley restaurant

PHOENIX (KSAZ) - Police are looking for a man who shot a woman outside of a Juliobertos restaurant near 32nd Street and McDowell.

Police say two separate groups of people were inside the restaurant when the two groups became involved in verbal confrontation.

Both groups of people left the restaurant and two women got into a physical confrontation with each other.

After the women were separated, one group of people went back in the restaurant and the other got into a grey sedan.

The sedan drove through the parking lot and someone from inside the car fired shots towards the restaurant, striking one woman in the hand with a gun shot.

The sedan then left the area.

The victim was transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Police are still investigating the shooting.
