'Pregnant Man' sentenced to 1 year of probation

PHOENIX (KSAZ) - The person known as the "Pregnant Man" was sentenced to one year of probation on Monday.

Thomas Beatie, who made headlines when he gave birth after transitioning from a woman to a man, pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct. Beatie was accused of stalking his estranged wife by placing a GPS tracking device under their car.

Beatie told investigators he installed the device in 2012 and had been monitoring her online.
