Search continues for 10-year-old Buckeye boy

It's been more than a week since a 10-year-old boy disappeared from his Buckeye home.

On July 17, Jesse Wilson disappeared from his home in Buckeye and over a week later, there's still no signs of the boy. Although he remains missing, Jesse's school and mother are thanking volunteers who have been helping police and the FBI find the boy.

On Sunday night, The Bradley Academy in Goodyear held a volunteer appreciation night for the hundreds of people who have spent time searching for Jesse over the last week.

A prayer was held, a monument was dedicated and yellow ribbons have been setup outside the school in honor of Jesse.

The president of the Bradley Academy says he expects Jesse to be in class when school starts next month and Jesse's mother thank all of the volunteers for their help in the search for her son.

"I just want to thank everyone for coming out, supporting and helping us to find Jessie," Crystal Wilson said. "I just want to let everybody know that I appreciate every bit from the smallest child to the oldest adult."

The FBI and Buckeye police continue their active search for Jesse, but there are no new leads in the case.
