A local soccer store owner woke up to some disturbing news Monday morning. His business was broken into overnight, but what's even more unsettling is that this isn't the first time they've been targeted. The same thing happened a few years ago -- also on July 4th.

The front doors of Soccer City were being boarded up, the floors were littered with shards of glass.

When the owner, Leonel Sanchez, arrived at the business near 51st Avenue and Thomas, he was heartbroken.

"It seems like they just took whatever they could, but took some expensive stuff, some original jerseys," he said.

Sanchez says, unfortunately, they've been in this situation before.

"I don't know if it makes me feel angry or makes me feel.. because this isn't the first time.. so I don't know what to say."

The previous store location was burglarized four years ago, also on July 4th. Sanchez says the thief or thieves got away with thousands of dollars worth of soccer gear.

"We're struggling to support family, we're paying rent, taxes, bills, everything.. for these people to take easy stuff, it's not fair," he said.
