Thunderstorm damage in Maricopa

Maricopa. Ariz. - A strong overnight monsoon thunderstorm caused some damage in Maricopa overnight

One home was damaged by strong winds, parts of its front patio was spread across the property. In other places, mud covered the road from overnight flash flooding.

The National Weather Service in Phoenix said there was a strong thunderstorm in the area Sunday night.
