New evacuations have been ordered for the Pinnacle Fire, which is burning west of Safford in the Coronado National Forest. The community of Klondyke, south of Whiting Ranch Road needs to evacuate immediately. The fire has burned 17,453 acres and is 15% contained.

The Pinnacle Fire has burned 15,801 acres west of Safford. The fire started last week in the Coronado National Forest and is 0% contained. A "GO" alert for evacuations has been issued for the Black Rock Ranch area.
