Medical helicopter makes 'precautionary landing' at park
A medical helicopter en route to a hospital made a "precautionary landing" on Oct. 14 at the Paradise Valley Park, located near 40th Street and Bell Road. Three crew members and a patient who were on board were not hurt. The aircraft sustained no damage.

Roofs of people's mobile homes in Tempe were damaged from Monday's storms.
Storm damages Phoenix Zoo, knocking trees and displays down
The Phoenix Zoo is closing for a few days to clean up from Monday's storm damage. A giant Christmas tree used for zoo lights was knocked into the water, and more than a dozen trees went down. Workers were able to bring the animals to their night enclosures.
