In a historic milestone for Georgia, 21-year-old Brooke Huckaby has become the state's youngest female mayor, taking office in the small town of Arabi, approximately 150 miles south of Atlanta.

A Georgia Gen-Z woman is making history as she's the youngest woman to be elected mayor in the United States. 21-year-old Brooke Huckaby is the mayor of a small town two hours south of Atlanta. Her father served as mayor for 12 years before deciding not to run for re-election.
