Texans and locals both escape Hurricane Harvey and arrive at Sky Harbor

PHOENIX (KSAZ) - As Hurricane Harvey rages on in southeast Texas, plenty of Texans and Arizonans were able to escape the storm.

Some of the passengers on United Airlines flight 1859 were attempting to return home to the valley of the sun before it was too late, and others had already knew what it was like when you decided to wait out a hurricane.

No matter where they were from -- Texas or Arizona -- all of the passengers who safely made it out of Houston, were ecstatic when the flight landed at Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport.
