Dierks Bentley's Whiskey Row hosts fundraiser to benefit Las Vegas shooting victims

Dierks Bentley's Whiskey Row is known as a place to have a good time, but tonight, it's hosting for a good cause.

Two weeks after a gunman opened fire on 22,000 people attending a country music festival, folks at Whiskey Row want to say they haven't forgotten.

It's easy to feel helpless after such a massive tragedy, but employees say that's why it was so important to do anything they could to contribute to the victim's fund.

The event tonight will feature chances to win one-of-a-kind goodies and experiences.

"We have all sorts of things, tickets, giveaways," Sean Frantz said.

The country music community is one that's tight knit and filled with the "give you the shirt off your back" kind of people.

Employees say you could feel that the minute they announced they were holding a fundraising event, and the help just keeps pouring in.

"We have six bands that just volunteered," Frantz said.
