Investigators search for cause of massive Gilbert fire

There is new information on the massive fire that broke out at an apartment complex under construction in Gilbert.

The complex is located near Gilbert and Warner Roads, and the aftermath shows several buildings reduced to rubble. It's one of the biggest fires the town of Gilbert has ever seen.

One firefighter was hurt in this fire, and three police officers were treated for smoke inhalation.

A second firefighter was hospitalized for a heat-related injury, but is recovering.

The flames jumped, sparking smaller fires nearby.

In all, 70 people living nearby were evacuated for their own safety during the fire.
