LAKE TAHOE, Calif. (FOX 13) - A California mother used her own "mama bear" voice to get rid of a bear approaching her porch.
Brittany Christensen, who lives in Lake Tahoe, said she was about to walk her dog when she saw the large bear ambling up towards her home.
With a stern voice, she continued to tell it him "no" multiple times. She finally yelled "Go away," and sent the bear running in the other direction. She also got the whole encounter on video.
Christensen said she wished the tactic worked as well on her own children.
