Phoenix man chased down porch pirate after stealing his packages

When a Phoenix man was home, he didn't hear the Amazon delivery driver knock or ring the bell, so he had no idea packages had been delivered.

He only found out when he heard a noise out front because a man on a bike was trying to steal his packages.

So Michael George decided to run to his garage and grab his own bike to chase down the porch pirate.

George eventually caught up to the man and confronted him. He was able to take the packages back, and the thief took off.

"I'm still in shock that someone would risk their life or risk having a confrontation with somebody. He didn't even know what was in the packages," he said.

Inside the packages were items the thief probably would not have wanted: customized coloring books for George's nephew.
