Phoenix teen injured in hit and run crash
PHOENIX - A valley family is looking for help after their son was involved in a hit and run -- the victim might need surgery and the driver took off from the scene.
On October 6th around 5:40 p.m., Matthew Knowles was crossing the street with two of his friends near 40th Street and Chandler Boulevard when a female driver hit him. His shoulder and ankle were hurt.
Matthew says the driver approached the boys before leaving the scene.
Witnesses say the woman was driving a white Nissan Crossover-style vehicle. She's described as having short blonde hair and being in her 40s.
