WATCH: Bus driver saves toddler from busy street

A Wisconsin bus driver said he was in the right place at the right time when he rescued a toddler from a busy road.

Metro Transit bus driver Tim Homann was driving in Madison on Thursday morning when he spotted a 1 ½-year-old girl standing in the street.

Video shows the moment that Homann stopped the bus and approached the little girl.

"I knelt down, and I put my arms out, and she put her arms up and said, 'Momma,'" Homann recalled.

The little girl's dad arrived moments later and explained that he had fallen asleep.
