Police say they were conducting a drug investigation at a storage facility near 21st Avenue and Northern when they discovered a haul of drugs.

The incident started when Pinal County sheriff's deputies tried to stop a stolen vehicle near Interstate 10 and Picacho Peak.

A massive amount of illegal drugs were seized at a Glendale home on June 20, the police department said.

Officials with the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office say they recently found xanax, ketamine, THC products and other items during a sizable drug bust that took place at multiple locations across the Valley, but one drug that has sparked a crisis of sorts in the state in recent years was not found.

Phoenix Police announced the seizure of half a million fentanyl pills thanks to the department's "immensely successful" Operation Summer Shield.

A Phoenix man was sentenced to 70 months in prison for attempting to sell drugs at Arizona Mills Mall.

Agents say more than $2 million in fentanyl was seized from a car at a checkpoint along Interstate 8.

"The estimated 1,042,000 pills and 9.65 pounds of cocaine have an estimated street value in Phoenix of $3.1 million," DPS said.

The alleged theft of hundreds of dollars worth of Pokémon cards led to the arrests of a man and woman who had drugs in the backseat next to a baby.

Hundreds of fentanyl pills, among other drugs, were recently seized from suspects being booked into Maricopa County jails, the sheriff's office said.
