Arizona Governor Katie Hobbs vetoed House Bill 2586, which would have required the Arizona Department of Transportation to post only Amber, Silver, or Blue alerts, or messages directly related to transportation and highway safety, on freeway signs. Hobbs said federal law lays out regulations for the signs, and that ADOT abides by those rules.
