Multi-car pileup in midtown Phoenix

PHOENIX - Five vehicles were involved in a string of collisions on Friday morning in Phoenix.

SkyFOX video over the scene on May 24 showed several cars almost stacked on top of each other near Central Avenue and Indian School Road.

Phoenix Police say the crash happened at 8 a.m. and one man was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries.

Impairment is believed to be a factor in the crash.

Indian School Road is shut down in the area due to the crash.
