One person is in custody after officers were reportedly shot at near 19th Avenue and Osborn. Police say officers were responding to a burglary call in the area and heard gunshots. The shots were not directed at the officers. A man who was hiding in a car was taken into custody. A second suspect fled the scene.

It was a busy night for firefighters in the Valley as crews battled a mobile home fire near Grand Avenue and Bethany Home Road, and a house fire near 44th Street and Indian School Road. Three people were displaced following the mobile home fire. No injuries were reported in either fire.
