Since this year's monsoon season began, the absence of stormy weather has been quite noticeable, but that came to an end of July 17 for people in Phoenix, as a storm brought blowing dust to parts of the Valley.

In a video captured by University of Arizona cameras, a storm can be seen developing over the Tucson area during the afternoon hours of July 17. While the monsoon season began in mid-June, the state has yet to see the stormy weather that is typical during an average monsoon season.

We've obtained new information out of Pima County on June 24 after a member of the Tohono O'odham Nation was shot to death by border patrol. An autopsy shows Raymond Mattia was shot at least nine times.

The Pima County Sheriff's Office says the Finger Rock trailhead, Ventana Canyon trailhead, Pima Canyon trailhead, Rose Canyon trailhead, and Sabino Canyon overflow parking are closed due to the fire. The fire is burning in the Catalina Mountains, two miles north of the Craycroft and the Placita Alta Reposa area.
